Soooo, I've been super determined to teach myself how to knit. I went out and bought one of those lame ass knitting books (even after my roomate advised me not to) and completely failed at it. Do those books actually work for anyone?! Sheesh! Fortunately, the information highway is full of knitting videos and I finally got the hang of getting the yarn on the stick (forgive my lack of knitting terminology) but still was clueless about the actual act of knitting. Yesterday my cubicle neighbor was nice enough to show me how :) And this morning my grandma would be so proud...I totally geeked out on the bart...Look what I made!

Knitting is fun! I haven't done it in a long time but used to make all kinds of neat things with it!
Hey Lindsay, it's great to hear form you. I love the things you are making. They are really great. Sorry it took so long to get back, this month was crazy, but I'm back now. Yeah! Can't wait to read more.
